I was first confused when I have read the article on TechCrunch , Analytics Blog and on NowPublic.com that Google will create a plugin to prevent Google Analytics trackers from recognizing them on websites. And this solution comes from Google itself!
This is a privacy issue for sure. I can understand that many webmaster do not want to get included (count) in their website statistics as visitors, but giving this tools for every user?! - Now all our statistics wil thrown to the garbage. There will probably be so many people that will use it (We are talking about privacy here guys), that many people will probably ditch Google Analytics for another solution.
But I think that Google just want to get people download their Chrome browser, even though that the plugin will be available for all browsers (probably). If such thing will happen, it can be the end of the days for Google Analytics. What do you think?
