I have just finished my review on what I think are the top 5 mobile analytics solutions. In the review you can read about mobile analytics solutions for tracking and analyzing the performance and effectiveness of mobile applications (apps), mobile websites and even mobile games for the leading platforms (Android OS, iPhone OS, etc.).
I have carefully hand-picked and reviews the following mobile analytics products: AdMob, Flurry, Webtrends, Bango and Motally. I have found that some solutions target mobile web and applications tracking separately and some of the vendors also offer advertising network that will allow mobile site and application owners to earn money from putting ads in their applications/games/sites.
The mobile realm is growing in a very fast pace and you don't want to stay behind. If you are a mobile app developer, I am sure that you will find this review very useful. When I first start reading and going through various articles and website resources on the Internet to gain more knowledge about mobile analytics, I didn't even imagine that there are so many excellent products out there.
Of course you can figure out that the main platforms are Google Android OS and iPhone OS. What I found strange is that Windows Phone 7 OS hasn't been mentioned even once (As far as I remember). I currently learning how to develop mobile applications for Android devices and I want to start developing new apps and start getting more familiar with everything that is related to mobile sites/apps and games. Sometimes it seems that you just can't keep up with the pace of the new emerging technologies. for all the webbie guys out there, I encourage you to start reading and educating yourself, because the web is going mobile in a fast pace, and I am sure that you don't want to stay behind.
