I have just finished posting my review about ActualMetrics' Mobile GA app review. This is a must android app for everyone who uses Google Analytics for his/hers website. This small and most intuitive little app, will bring some important features of Google Analytics, right into your Android mobile device. I have installed it on my HTC Google Nexus One Android device, and it works flawlessly. You can read the Mobile GA review, which I have included screenshots which where taken from my Nexus One.

Great review! - I have downloaded MobileGA android app to my HTC Hero and it works smoothly without any glitches. We can finally see some very useful free android apps on Google Market. What I did love about Mobile GA is that fact that you can save available metric to your favorites and in one click see the report, whether it's a chart or figures report. I just wish that we can create advanced segments in Mobile Google Analytics and not just use the basic features. But I think its like that because of Google Analytics API limitations. If it would have been possible, it would have probably exists in the app already. First I thought twice about installing a 3rd party Google Analytics android app, because it wasn't created by Google itself, but after reading your review about MobileGA, I didn't thin twice and installed it on my HTC Hero mobile phone. Thanks for sharing this information with us.

The API for Google Analytics is called Google Analytics Data Export API. By using those API functions/services you can create customized dashboard or integrate your Google Analytics data with other remote data, according to Google Analytics developers docs.

Mobile GA are using the Data Export API to remotely connect to user accounts, by using their Email/Username address and password. To do that you need to understand the underlying protocol which is being used in all client libraries (Java and Javascript libraries).

You also need to know that the currently Google Analytics Data Export API is in public beta, so it might change from time to time. I think ActualMetrics did a great job implementing those libraries in their android app. I am thinking of developing an GA traffic analyzer android app myself soon. Loved the app, bravo ActualMetrics for your efforts.

Great for you, but do they have any Google analytics app for the iphone 3G/3GS? - I use Google Analytics from my laptop computer, but sometimes I just want to take a sneak pick on goals and arrange my working schedules on my website accordingly. I didn't find any Mobile GA iPhone app on their website, it seams that they only developed an Android app, any clues where I can find it?

You have to check out analyticsapp.com website. They have by far, the best web analytics app for iPhone. Much better then Mobile GA from ActualMetrics. When you use Analytics app for iPhone, it makes Mobile GA looks like a toy app.

You have over 55 reports available to you:

Today (Dashboard report of Today), Dashboard, Visitors Overview, Traffic Overview. Content Overview. Event Tracking Overview, Goals Overview. Also Included All Traffic Sources, Referring Sites, Search Engines, Keywords, Non-Paid Keywords, Paid Keywords, Adwords Campaigns, Campaigns, Ad Versions and much more.

Amazing Analytics App for the iPhone. This is by far the BEST one for any mobile device. I am sure that in the near future we'll see more vendors developing their own apps for mobile devices, Nokia next?

iPhone analytics app are still superior to any Google Android Analytics app.I am taking my cellular phone everywhere I go (as the rest of the world), and being able to see visitors statistics and goals on my cell phone, really rocks! - One thing is missing, is using advanced segments on mobile phones. Sometimes I am spending 2 hours, just by going to work and back. If I could just spend some time building segments for my custom reports while on the bus, that will be cool.
