Keywords position tracking in Web Analytics software

I am searching for a solution like GoingUp, that will let me track my website SERPS keywords positioning. I have checked GoingUp, but it seems that the bot for tracking the keywords positioning needs to be on my server (probably a scrapper or something like that). Is there any other web analytics tool that integrates its own SEO (Search Engine Optimization) tools inside, and have a keywords positioning tracking tool that I can built custom reports and use the keyword position in my segments?

Please help me on this.

I remember back then that Google has provided an API for checking keywords positioning in SERPS, but it has stopped providing keys for it as far as I remember. So now days, in order to track keywords positioning in search engine result pages, you need to make a scrapper bot that scraps Google SERPS and search for the position of the website according to your website address. Of course you can get banned if you do so, I mean if the IP address from which the bot has been sent is scrapping Google pages for that keywords positioning, the IP can be banned, I think.

There isn't any web analytics software that I know that allows you to track Google keyword positioning. I know that will be great, especially for SEO experts and people who need to track the position of the keywords and even see how it helps them earn more money from Adsense for example. Anyways, I don't have any idea, but I will search in Google to see if I can pick up anything like that.

I think I have great news, listen up guys. It seems that Google delivers the specific keywords position in the traffic which is referred from Google search engine URL. I have read an article on blogstorm.com called "Google Adds Ranking Data to Referrer String?", and in there you can see that the url contains a parameter 'cd=' that holds the keyword positioning in Google SERPS, which the visitor came from. The keywords is in the 'q' parameter, and that means that you can see the position of the specific keywords in SERPS. You should also check out the ct=res, that means that the visitor came from organic search results. Great news isn't it?

WOW thanks!, these are great news. I wonder why GoingUp! hasn't implemented keywords position tracking using this method and used only scrapper bots to do so. I mean now developers can create dedicated solutions for tracking keywords positioning and use Google Analytics API to combine the data and create custom reports that will have SEO experts and website owners as a whole, to track keywords positioning and understand what keyword is releated to more conversions and much more.

BTW: Does Bing, Yahoo, Yandex and other search engines do the same or it is just Google search engine.

I've felt that Google has made a change when I first saw the keywords traffic chart in Google webmaster Tools. I am also interested in learning more about search engine optimization (SEO) and the integration between the keywords related data and web analytics solutions is a feature that many want. GoingUp has become very popular because of that feature, and they even market their product as a "web analytics" + "SEO" product. Optimizing your website includes various strategies, and the "SEO" feature can now be implemented in every web analytics solution.

Hey Guy, here is a list of SEO-Analytics related software, check out this article. I think that we will see more web analytics products that will use this feature. I just wonder why Google hasn't implemented it, Any ideas?
