I have decided to try BTBuckets Real-time, Actionable & Dynamic content web analytics solution. BTBuckets calls it "Free Behavioral Targeting and Segmentation". I have did some research on BTBuckets and also compared it to Google Analytics vs. Woopra vs. Clicky vs. WhosOn and others. This real-time web analytics really shines where it should be. It lets you create what called "buckets", where you create user segments using several metrics. By default you get 4 Active buckets: Social media, search, returning visitor & new visitor. You can also create custom buckets.

When a but is "filled", that means that a user which fills the specific segment metric, is visiting your website. When a visitor fits in one of your buckets, you then can take proactive measures (actions). BTBuckets ia an on-site segmentation and behavioral targeting tool. As buckets are clusters that define the user's behavior on your website, you have a strong tool of not just sitting back and watching your visitors fly by, but make interactions with visitors in real-time.
This is done in several steps:
First you create you Bucket (profile), using segmentation options like: Behavior (came from, visited a page, event), IP Intelligence (geolocation), etc. When you finished segmenting, you save the Bucket and give it a name. After that you can assign a Javascript or any HTML code to run when a specific behavioral target has been detected.
So if you want to engage you users with free segmentation and behavioral targeting tool, BTBucket is probably the easiest and Free real-time web analytics solutions, that also give you the ability to present dynamic content to your website visitors by their behavior on your website and their origin.
I think it is a very useful web stats tool that you should at least try. It is not that popular compared to Woopra, GetClicky, WhosOn, GoingUp! and others. I think that it is going in the right direction, but it has to be improved though. The best thing in BTBuckets is that its simple and most intuitive to use. Check them out at BTBUCKETS.com.
My Opinion:
I found this lack of advanced detailed reporting features. What BTBucket does best, is letting you see web statistics data, not as just figures on your screen, but visualizing the data, so you can actually understand you website traffic better. All numbers like the total visitors, unique visitors per month, juts don't help us in understanding how visitors behavior better. For that reason BTBuckets has created a unique product that has unique approach of what is important and what isn't.
I mean, seriously guys, How many of you really think that by just looking at the total visits can give you any insight at all. You need to make segmentation of your visitors, and act upon each one individually. You can read about it on Avinash Kaushik blog, and understand why many people need to use segmentation in order to get better insights of the behavioral activities of their website visitors.
Of course you won't get any Integration with AdWords, like you get in Google Analytics. You want get to build and observe high detailed reports, and it is not fun as using Woopra or GetClicky, in term of visual experience. But when you look at it in a different perspective, you can see a simple, yet very oriented product, that aims to make web analytics easier to use, yet give more emphasize on the important factors that leads to website conversions.
