We don’t hear announcement like this everyday, but hey, Google itself is saying that Facebook is the most popular sites in the world, this according to Google’s announcement about the 1000 most-visited sites on the web report that was published on 20h April, 2010.

I’ve just read about Google’s new “secure” encrypted version of its search engine Google.com. To use the new encrypted you should login to https://www.google.com/ website. If you haven’t noticed, the difference between the non-SSL version is the ’s’ after the “http”, which means that the connection is encrypted using the SSL technology.
